Update on Postponed Works

The resurfacing work that was planned for Lunecliffe Road has, unfortunately, been postponed due to the works which have just begun at the lower waste water treatment site in Stodday. 

Lunecliffe Road is going to be used for HGVs and other traffic to enter and exit the United Utilities plant for the period of the site upgrade (18 months to 2 years) which makes resurfacing unviable until the work is complete.

We will let parishioners know the likely date for resurfacing when Lancashire County Council Highways restore it to the repair schedule.
