Works at Stodday Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW)

United Utilities and their project partner C2V have notified the Parish Council about the next phase of the work to construct new storm tanks at the Stodday treatment works.   We have been advised that there will be increased traffic movements to and from the site.

Piling work will start onAugust 25th and continue until 12th November 2026.    There are likely to be 6 wagons of concrete to the site each day and potentially up to 5 ‘muck away’ wagons per day.

Inlet Shaft works will take place between 4th December 2026 and 24th February 2027.  Daily segment deliveries will take place and potentially 8 muck away wagons per day.

In February and March 2027, the base concrete pours will take place but we will send a further notification about these and the subsequent outlet shaft works.  This part of the project is scheduled to be completed by May 2027.

Please note that all of the above dates are provisional and may change but we will try to keep you informed as we receive updates from the project team.
