The Parish Council has been notified of a new planning application at Arna Wood, as follows:

23/01140/FUL. Partially retrospective change of use of land to 3 no Gypsy/Traveller pitches comprising 3 touring caravans and 3 mobile homes, siting of a day room, erection of a barn, installation of a septic tank and creation of an area of hardstanding. Field 3225, Arna Wood Lane, Aldcliffe.

This application follows on from the City Council’s refusal on 24th August 2023 of the previous application 21/01581/FUL.

The Parish Council resolved at its meeting on 4th October to submit a further letter of objection to this new application. For anyone wishing to submit their own comments on the application, the published consultation expiry date is 27th October 2023.
