Parishioners will be pleased to learn that, following representations by the Parish Council, the hedgerows to the West of Aldcliffe Road between Park Meadow and East Lodge have now been trimmed.

The Parish Council had received several comments about the hedges, which were encroaching into the carriageway, causing a hazard to users and potential damage to vehicles.

Our thanks go to the agents for Aldcliffe Hall Estates and particularly the tenant of the paddock adjacent to Aldcliffe Road for their action to improve the condition of the hedgerow.
