We are now working on a draft Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP), looking carefully at the responses you gave to the Issues and Options Consultation document. To help us we have commissioned a Design Codes Study of our Parish.

A Design Codes Study considers the existing local architecture and design and sets out guidelines for any new development. It also looks at local materials as well as the scale and height of traditional buildings in the Parish. It will help inform planning policies on design in the NDP. The Study will also look at the environmental sensitivity and biodiversity of the area.

This is particularly relevant given the recent Government announcements regarding changes to Planning.
