Aldcliffe with Stodday Parish Council

Bailrigg Garden Village and the ‘South Lancaster Growth Catalyst’

The Parish Council has recently become aware of a proposal known as the ‘South Lancaster Growth Catalyst’ which could introduce a commitment to over 9,000 homes being built in the wider ‘Lancaster South Broad Location for Growth (Policy SG1 in the City Council’s Local Plan), which includes the Bailrigg Garden Village.

The Parish Council is writing to the City Council urging it not to sign the proposed agreement with Lancashire County Council and Homes England. The following flyer has been delivered to all homes in the Parish urging residents to also voice their opinions.
